Welcome to Publications

Publications is a division of UC San Diego’s University Communications and Public Affairs. Each year we produce hundreds of printed, electronic, and “new media” communication pieces on behalf of UC San Diego clients. These range in scope from identity development to marketing collateral, and everything in between. If you’ve ever been on the UC San Diego campus, you’ve seen examples of our work.

Since our inception in 1972, Publications has overseen UC San Diego’s identity by playing a key leadership role in the development of campus graphic guidelines and written communication initiatives. As the publishing industry has evolved, so has our department. Today our creative services include comprehensive Web and new media work, as well as the full range of traditional print publishing.
